There’s something about a classic Arizona wedding surrounded by green fairways, towering palms, and golden light that feels effortlessly timeless. This beautiful wedding at The Legacy Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona brought all of those elements together with elegant black-tie style, romantic white florals, and a gorgeous outdoor celebration.
Nestled near the base of South Mountain, The Legacy offers several ceremony and reception spaces throughout the property, along with sweeping golf-course and mountain views. It’s such a beautiful contrast to the traditional desert scenery you usually picture when you think of a Phoenix wedding.

The day had such a classic, polished feel from the beginning. The groom and his wedding party wore traditional black tuxedos with bow ties and white boutonnieres—a look that will still feel just as beautiful twenty years from now.
The Legacy’s greenery and modern architecture made the perfect backdrop for wedding-party portraits. I always love incorporating the venue itself into photographs like these because it gives the gallery a sense of place rather than making every portrait feel interchangeable.
And with the guys looking this sharp, we obviously had to give them their moment.

The Legacy Golf Club gives couples a little bit of everything: manicured green space, mature trees and palms, mountain views, outdoor ceremony locations and multiple options for the reception. The property is also part of the historic Dwight B. Heard estate and sits near the base of South Mountain.
For photography, that variety is gold.
We can create clean, editorial wedding-party portraits near the architecture and then walk onto the course for softer, romantic photographs surrounded by greenery and glowing Arizona light.
The result is a wedding gallery that feels classic, romantic and unmistakably Arizona.
If you’re planning a Legacy Golf Club wedding in Phoenix and want wedding photography that blends beautiful, timeless portraits with the candid moments happening in between, I’d love to photograph your day.
My approach combines gentle direction when you need it with documentary-style photography when you don’t—so you’ll have the frame-worthy portraits and the photographs of the people, reactions, laughter and tiny moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
Because years from now, I want your photographs to do more than remind you what your wedding looked like.
I want them to remind you exactly what it felt like.
